INTERIOR PAINTING CONTRACTOR // SEACOAST NEW HAMPSHIRE

More Than A Paint Job.  It’s Personal.

Every business has a story. Ours starts with one person deciding she deserved more than “good enough”, and that belief has shaped every home we’ve painted since.

How Lauren Frayne and Company Got Started

I started this business as a single mother working three jobs just to get by. Somewhere in that grind, I knew there had to be more, not just for my life, but for the kind of work I put into the world. Painting gave me both: a way to build something that was entirely mine, and a way to bring real care into people’s homes instead of just showing up and leaving. In 2021, I brought Joey on board. He didn’t come from painting (he’d been working landscaping) but he had what I actually look for in anyone I bring onto a job site: reliability, a willingness to learn, and consistency you can count on. I trained him myself, starting in the shop and eventually bringing him on-site as it became clear he was ready for more. Today, Joey brings that same steadiness and care to every home we walk into, right alongside me. That’s still who we are. A small, hands-on team that treats every project like it’s the only one we have that day.

We Never Skip Prep… Ever

Anyone can put paint on a wall. What separates a finish that still looks flawless five years from now from one that starts showing wear in five months is almost always what happens before the paint ever opens: the sanding, the patching, the careful masking, the surface prep most homeowners never think to ask about.

We believe prep is 80% of the project.

It’s not a step we rush, and it’s not a step we skip to save time. Not on a starter home, and not on a historic landmark.

Work That Speaks for Itself

Our work has taken us into some of the Seacoast’s most distinctive spaces, including the historic Portsmouth Masonic Temple, exactly the kind of detailed, high-stakes project where our prep-first approach matters most.

We’re also proud to partner with respected local builders and designers, including Tucker Builders, Cedar + Salt, and Forest + Ash.
